David Hedgcock

David has been employed by Northumbria Primary Care Since April 2015 when the company launched. Prior to this David has worked for Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust since 2002 as a biomedical scientist, graduate management trainee and latterly as an operational service manager within medicine and emergency care managing critical care, respiratory and emergency department services. In 2009 David completed an MSc in Healthcare Management at Newcastle University Business School.

David is our point of contact for new practices that are interested in discussing NPC in more detail. Day to day he works closely with practice managers to ensure governance, operations and finance are all closely monitored. David works in partnership with the clinical executive team to develop sustainable, alternative workforces which will meet the future needs of primary care.
